Recipe to make Mango Lassi

Well after a quick thought i decided to share the most popular Indian drink Mango Lassi. What better time to share this recipe than Summer, season of Mangoes. Mango is my favourite fruit and i miss them as i live far away from my homeland. Moreover this is the go to drink when i have craving to taste a desert.This quick recipe is a saviour as the best welcome drink.I tried this at home and turned out very delicious. Lets dig into the recipe below.

Ingredients :


  • 1 Cup plain yogurt
  • 1/2 cup milk 
  • 1 cup chopped mango
  • Sugar or honey as per taste
  • Walnuts/Almonds/Pista for Garnish
  • Ice optional
  • Pinch of finely powdered Cardamom or elaichi
Instructions :

  • Firstly boil milk and let it cool.
  • Take a juicer add yogurt,milk,chopped mangoes mix well
  • Now add desired amount of either sugar or honey as per taste along with a pinch of Cardamom or elaichi and grind to a smoothie.
  • Pour this into serving glass garnish with chopped Nuts of your choice and serve chill. 
NOTE : Use ripened mango to get a better taste.
